China Condemns Infamous Burmese Fraud Syndicate Members to Capital Punishment
One China's judicial body has sentenced several leading members of an infamous Myanmar mafia to execution as Beijing persists in its campaign on scam networks in Southeast Asian region.

The group is among a small number of organized crime groups that became dominant in the 2000s and changed the impoverished isolated region of Laukkaing into a lucrative base of gambling establishments and red-light districts.
