Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
