Netflix Selects Perfect Star for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Upcoming Installment

The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t take place until the third season, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has just been cast.

Netflix announced this week that the skilled actor has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will play Bentham. The role can use their power to change into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. The performer, who is identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them, will depict a interpretation of that role re-envisioned as non-binary, instead of as a drag queen, in the live-action show, differing from the source material and cartoon version.

This performer joins multiple recently announced actors who will portray Baroque Works to life, such as head Sir Crocodile, played by Joe Manganiello, an emerging star as another operative, and a familiar face, who also joins the lineup as the ruler of Alabasta.

Although the role is a important part of the group, the character won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. Given the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden storyline, this represents a notable change in the schedule of their first appearance, one that could indicate more adjustments to the plot development.

Their mix of sharp comedic timing and profound feeling makes them a standout choice for the part. Along with their current animated role in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and numerous honors for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, emphasizing the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s most celebrated figures.

The platform’s adapted One Piece program is scheduled to come back for its second season on March 10, 2026.
