Vince Zampella, Has Died in a California Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The influential video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his family, and all those touched by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
